     IEEE (Institue of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc) is the world's leading professional association for the advancement of technology. Through its global membership, IEEE is a leading authority on areas ranging from aerospace systems, computers and telecommunications to biomedical engineering, electric power and consumer electronics among others.

     IEEE Student membership is open to undergraduate and graduate students who are enrolled in at least 50% of a normal, full-time course of study in electrical engineering, electronics, computer engineering, or computer science, in an allied branch of engineering technology, or in related arts and sciences.

Any student wishing to become a member of the UWM IEEE Student Branch should complete the following procedure:

  1. Attend any scheduled meeting.
  2. Apply online at www.ieee.org/join
  3. Subscribe to our mailing list at: http://listserv.uwm.edu/mailman/listinfo/ieee-list
